A Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) is an air pollution control system designed to destroy volatile organic compounds (VOCs), hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), and odorous emissions through high-temperature combustion. RTOs operate at temperatures of 760–980°C (1,400–1,800°F) and are widely used in industries such as chemical manufacturing, paint coating, and pharmaceuticals.
